‘Kibou to Zetsubou’ is the 2nd documentary movie of Hinatazaka46 that premiered in theaters on 2022-07-08 and was released on Blu-ray on 2022-12-21. The movie focuses on the period after the 1st documentary ‘3-nenme no Debut’ and Hinatazaka46 journey to Tokyo Dome.

Similarly to the previous release, the Blu-ray box contains two versions of the movie; theatrical cut (119 minutes, disc 1) and a longer director’s cut (226 minutes, split between disc 2 and disc 3). The 1st disc also has several short trailers and the 3rd disc a collection of promo events.

Note 1: Only the theatrical version of the movie has both 5.1 and 2.0 audio, the director’s cut is only 2.0.
